participate in an 8 week class to prepare them for membership. |

| UMYF is
United Methodist Youth Fellowship. We meet on Sunday nights from
6:30-7:30 after a brown bag supper at 6:00 to discuss different social,
religious, spiritual and political issues or to play games, watch movies,
have worship, fellowship with other churches, pray and have fun! |

| The North
Alabama Conference offers several Junior High Retreats each year.
This is a time when our youth get with other youth in our conference for a
weekend of study, fellowship, worship and fun! |

as well. These retreats are planned and implemented by the
Council on Youth Ministries. |

COYM provides a winter retreat in Gatlinburg, TN for both Junior High
and Senior High youth. |

| During Spring
Break, the Council on Youth Ministries for our conference provides a trip to
New York and Washington DC for Juniors & Seniors in high school to
participate in Citizenship Seminars. |

Camp Sumatanga is the North
Alabama Conference Camp and Retreat Center for the United Methodist Church.
This is where our youth participate in summer camps and most weekend
retreats. |

Once a month, the youth from FUMC and Central UMC join for Morning Glory Prayer Breakfast.
We meet at Central at 6:45 for Chick Fil A breakfast and a devotion. |
